Above you can see some of the shots I took at the Red Dragon FM Welsh Awards 2007, held at the Waterfront in Barry on April 12th.
Got to meet a few celebrities and have a drink or two, pretty decent evening really, I could get used to be invited to exclusive parties and awards

Ah. We've all been there. We sit in front of the TV watching "Nature's Greatest Miracles", and then. Two anmials start humping away at each other like rabbits. Usually, they are rabbits, but even so. It's very embarrasing.
However, I've experienced worse tonight. I was watching the "20th Greatest Christmas Songs Ever" on Magic with my Mum and brothers, and this video came up.
I looked up 3 or 4 times duing the video: mainly to look at Emma Bunton at her prime. But by god! I never realiesd the subtle undertones in the video. Okay, they're hardly subtle - the line "I wanna make love to ya baby!", isn't exactly playing hard to get. But those nights I spent alone with a copy of Smash Hits and this song on repeat. I just feel.....dirty. Call me naive, but I thought it was all about Marriage...
Its what everyone is blogging about, so not to be outdone...I can't quite claim to have been to all 30+ shows, but its in the high twenties, and I have to agree with everyone else who has been counting (all the ONLINE gang for a start) it has certainly changed over all those years! When I was a lad, we hadn't even thought of Web, let alone Web 1.0 or 2.0! From the conference floor, this year, the talk was of 'Search' and wikis and social software; open access and social networking. On the exhibition floor it was all networking too! UKeiG met a host of old friends at their stand and a walk (one of many) around the stands found many more. e-Books and eContent feature on a number of stands - MyiLibrary looks set to rival giants such as NetLibrary and eContent is the name of the game. Another...
Personal disappointment at the CIPR Awards last night for myself unfortunately as my little 'project' failed to win an award, but alas at least my butties in the PR team won the 'Gold' award 'Newsletter, Newspaper or Magazine' category. Nice one guys!Cardiff's Marriott hotel was the venue for the awards and it must be said that it wasn't nearly half as good as the Belfast City Hall effort. The company wasn't great either with the world of public relations and journalists vying for prominence over each other and the tension being almost tangeable. Funny though if neither is "your bag". I also came to the conclusion that if you're relatively tall, leggy and blonde (and female preferably) that you stand a damn good chance of making it in the world of PR. But hey what the hell do I know,...
