We noted some weeks ago the sudden disappearance of a Plaid Cymru Assembly Member’s blog in mysterious circumstances.
We called for Guidelines on the use of the Internet by Assembly Members, especially after dastardly projects like Natwatch - an anonymous blog - apparently funded by a Labour Party Assembly Member and his young researcher.
Today, leading Assembly Member bloggers Peter Black AM (in Blogging AMs) and Glyn Davies AM (in Bloggers Beware) discuss a Guidance Note sent to all Assembly Members via the Welsh Assembly’s Standards Committee.

More support for advocacy projects for elderly people is needed in Wales according to an Age Concern report launched by Plaid Assembly Member Leanne Wood.
A survey by the charity found that only half of Welsh organisations working with older people provide an advocacy service. About a third of these will have to stop or operate on reduced funding over the next 12 months.

Plaid Cymru’s Deputy President Jill Evans MEP has been arrested today at the gates of the British Nuclear Weapons Base at Faslane in Scotland today and has been taken to Clydebank Police Station.
Jill Evans was arrested with Plaid Cymru’s Welsh Assembly Member Leanne Wood. Both were at the base to reaffirm Plaid’s commitment to nuclear disarmament.
Plaid Cymru is contributing to the Faslane 365 continuous blockade of the Trident naval base which includes members of the Westminster, Scottish, Welsh, Dutch and European Parliaments, and local councillors.
