If you are an S60 user, http://www.quickoffice.com/ are selling the latest version of their software for just $1 (50p in our money). It's only for today and the full price is around $50 I think....
Nokia has changed the default ringtone on the upcoming N78. I'm not sure if it's just for this phone or if it will be the new ringtone on all new Nokia phones.
It sounds very similar to music on this video which features music by Francisco Tárrega.
You can download the ringtone here.......
A clever video from mobile phone retailer e2save showing the evolution of the mobile phone from 1985 to the present day.......

To celebrate the recent launch of N-Gage, Nokia are giving away 120,000 free copies of FIFA 08. If you own an N81/N81 8GB, N82 or N95/N95 8GB, head over here to download your copy. [via]...

AWV has gone mobile before (using Winksite) but the service offered by that site is nothing compared to the new 'Mippin Maker' from Mippin.com. If you haven't heard of Mippin.com before, it's a mobile directory of websites that have been optimised for the mobile phone. The service takes the content and compresses images (and rotates them if they are too big) and converts some videos (e.g. YouTube) so that they can be viewed on your phone.
The new service that they have launched requires only a valid RSS or Atom feed to work and you can be up and running in minutes. To view AWV Mobile type http://www.welshview.mobi into your mobile browser. Alternatively, you can use a barcode reader (get one here) to scan the code on the right......

According to research, 13 million Britons suffer from nomophobia ('no mobile phobia') - the fear being out of mobile phone contact.
Keeping in touch with friends or family is the main reason why they are so wedded to their mobile.
More than one in two said this is why they never switch it off.
One in ten said they needed to be contactable at all times because of their jobs, while 9 per cent said that having their phone switched off made them anxious.
Experts say nomophobia could affect up to 53 per cent of mobile phone users, with 48 per cent of women and 58 per cent of men questioned admitting to experiencing feelings of anxiety when they run out of battery or credit, lose their phone or have no network coverage.
I think I'm one of those 13 million although I'm not concerned about...

Chinese phones may not be as technologically advanced as some other phones (e.g. 5mp+ cameras, HSDPA) but they are excelling in other areas. This phone comes with a whopping 32800mAh battery which can provide 666 days of standby time and 3-5 days of talk time! This means that you can go for months at a time without having to recharge it. I could really use a battery that size in my phones.
Just Another Mobile Phone Blog has got a feature list as well as more......

YouTube has broadened it mobile services to include most of its video library and upload capabilities to a majority of mobile devices with streaming ability and 3G access. Up until now, the YouTube mobile website (http://m.youtube.com) had featured only a limited number of videos and didn't have any of the extra features of YouTube such as uploading and rating (apart from the iPhone and Helio mobile versions).
YouTube has also released a Java client (currently only available on a limited number of phones) which offers a richer viewing experience and allows you to access your own videos, subscriptions and favourites as well as uploading videos directly from your phone.
Up until now I have been using emTube which has allowed full access to YouTube but hasn't offered anything beyond...
JR decided to join me for my lunchtime ride down to Limeslade today - well he did for part of the way anyway. In fairness it was his first time out on the saddle since October last year, so I could hardly expect him to go at the usual pace. Just for the record training session number 13 covered 10.8 miles.Day number two of the potty training didn't go well, with DDWT Junior having a major tantrum i.e. kicking the potty over. Not good really and Mrs DDWT's patience was stretched to the limit. As the day wore on things began to settle down thankfully and they even managed to make some Thomas the Tank engine cakes - which were actually rather tasty!Whilst on the subject of DDWT Junior we've now had to buy him a new car seat as he's outgrown the last one - to such an extent that his head...
Huh, if only I was talking about the football yesterday. I'm referring to my weigh in this morning and the storming sight of me now being 16st 4lbs, the lightest I have been in 6 years!!! It certainly gave me a lift as I was feeling a wee bit down in the dumps after the Swans defeat yesterday. Mrs DDWT has now also decided to undertake the regular Sunday weighing slot - but I'm restricted by copyright to divulge any of the details (plus a thick ear of course!).Been banging my head against the wall today trying to find an unlock code for my sony ericsson mobile - which is tied into the Tesco network, as I want to move over to T-Mobile without buying a new handset. I was contemplating using one of the many phone unlocking people out there in cyberspace (or on the high street for that...

With me taking a day's leave today - in order to use or lose my holidays - it was nice to get up at the usual time, but rather than facing the drive into work I went for a nice run instead. The 2.8 mile run (measured to perfection in Mrs DDWT's Vauxhall) took me 20 minutes 59 seconds, which I was rather pleased with considering the times I have been doing for the distance since the turn of the year. This week has been a good week for me training wise, with Wednesday being the only day off thus far. Plus I'm up to 11 training sessions now!I should know by now not to EVER go out running on an empty stomach as it's always played hell with my system. So after my tummy troubles had subsided, we headed off to Fforestfach to take back yet more unwanted sales stuff and spend some time in...

Q. What has James Brown, my phone, and Liverpool's Title Chance got in common?
A. They all died over the Christmas Period.
I was going to say "Gerald Ford", but it was too soon. Anyway, my phone half died unspectacularly. It still works, just very temperatmental - text messages taking forever to arrive etc. My diagnostic was the battery was loose, which didn't cause the phone to crash - but the battery was holding in the SIM. I could've either got a new battery, or a new phone.
Meh, I had it 2 years, and I bought it 2nd hand anyway - it's lasted me so well, and still in an ebayable condition. It's a Sony Ericsson K750, and it's fucking ace. I admit, I'm still playing around with camera though - below is a picture of my ace firefox T-shirt Rick got me.
Tis a work of genius that tee. I...
